The New Era mod takes a different approach to modernizing Victoria 2. After extracting the compressed mod, you enter folder 'NEM_1.21' and copy all the files inside (except for the notepad), and then paste them in the 'mod' folder inside the main folder of Victoria 2. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts. For example the netherlands still has it's 1836 start date cores on belgium and germany still has their core on eupen-malmedy. After the Great War, there is tension in Anatolia as part of the Turkish war of independence. The first timeline begins the period of the ceasefire by the Great War.
